Lord, please give me the qualities
To wear this star proudly.

I ask for the strength, courage, and dedication
To carry the symbol that has stood for the law and
Order throughout our country's history.

Strength to protect others,
Courage to do what has to be done
Plus dedication to my job and my Community.
